Who We Are
The Professional Pen (TPP) was created by former TV executive Shannan E. Johnson to give writers what every other discipline already has—guidance.
Students have teachers. Athletes have coaches. Even Daniel-san had Mr. Miyagi. But writers? We’re often told to figure it out alone.
That’s where we come in.
TPP is a team of screenwriting coaches (coined Story Experts) who help you develop your scripts, build your portfolio, and confidently navigate Hollywood.
