What's included in the Logline Review?
Your personal TPP Story Expert will provide feedback that ensures your logline will entice Hollywood executives into wanting your screenplay in their hands. The service includes:
  • Detailed Feedback on your logline
  • TPP’s Signature Logline Formula
  • Sample Logline using TPP's Formula
What is a Social Responsibility Analysis?
It's a chicken or egg concept. Does life imitate art or does art imitate life? What we know as screenwriters is that our stories reach the masses, and the way we portray our characters, especially underrepresented groups, unconsciously (or consciously) create messages about those groups of people.

In an effort to support and challenge our Pen Pals to create their best work, TPP evaluates the social responsibility and cultural competencies in your screenplay to help you become aware of potential blind spots while also helping you to think critically about how your work can affect and impact the reader, executives and viewers.

Your personal Story Expert will evaluate responsible writing by how story elements such as dialogue, character descriptions and actions, and themes treat its world and characters with care and consideration taking the following into account:
  • Implicit bias, stereotypes, tropes, harmful archetypes and cliches
  • Treatment of non-male, non-white, and/or queer & LGBTQ+ characters
  • Excessive or gratuitous sexual and other violence which does not advance the plot, push the story forward, or create nuanced character development
